P & C
The Glennie Heights school community is supportive of our school and involved in a number of ways. In particular, the P &C Association meets once a month (2nd Thursday@ 6.00pm), and fundraises to provide a variety of extras for the students. Two of our recent projects have included assisting in the installation of air conditioning in all teaching spaces, successfully implementing the irrigation of our two ovals and extending the kitchen garden outdoor learning space.
Our 2024 P&C Executive have been elected at the March meeting. Thanks to the following school community members who accepted positions on the P & C Executive in 2024:
2024
President - Kylie Beggs
Vice President - Natasha Grant
Secretary - Hailey Clout
Treasurer - Nicole McKenzie

Tuckshop
Our onsite Tuckshop has been 'mothballed' as we continue an arrangement with the canteen at Warwick State High School. Since COVID-19 restrictions, no Tuckshop arrangements have been available. This will be reviewed in Term 2, 2024.
When we are working with WSHS, orders are due on Thursday by 10am. These are delivered to WSHS by a parent volunteer. Another volunteer picks up the order on Friday for lunchtime delivery of a meal deal. The deal changes weekly.
State School tuckshops operate on Healthy Choices, being mindful of the need not to provide foods that constitute a health risk (such as peanut products); we do have students who have life threatening allergies.
Tuckshop is also operational for some special events such as our Athletics Carnival and some other celebrations. If you can spare some time, why not volunteer?
Bookclub
Bookclub forms are sent home monthly with students. Please have orders in by the due date. Thanks to Megan O'Neil who has agreed to continue in the role of Bookclub Convenor throughout 2024.
